Homosassa Drum March 8th 2010

Homosassa delivers again. I met Patty, Connie, Jim and Jimmy at Macrae's for another great day on the water. The ever reliable sheepshead were on the menu again, and they didn't disappoint. I targeted the shallow rock piles west of Chassahowitzka today, and the sheepshead were there in good numbers. We caught several nice keepers and numerous grass porgy's to keep us busy throughout the day. The highlight of the day was when Jim hooked into a large black drum that gave him a good run for his money. Live shrimp on a jig head was the bait of choice for the day. Thank you all for the great time and here is Jim with his big drum... Capt. Dan
