Last Day Slam...

We took it a bit easy for Uncle Phil's and Joe's last day. We found some nice snook, a couple trout and topped of a beauty of a red fish for a slam. I did make a long run in hope of finding a tripletail, but we didn't see any today. You both had a tremendous trip and I can't thank you enough... Capt. Dan

Awesome Day....

Day one with Uncle Phil in town and Joe and we had a hot bite today. Great snook action and trout jigging. The trout action was really good and we found some nice silver trout to the mix which I haven't seen in a while. A great start to your trip and I thank you both.... Capt. Dan

Crystal River Snook & Trout....

A slow trout bite today for John, Nelson and Wayne, but the snook action was hot. The trout were there, but with the tide and wind cancelling each other out, we didn't cover any ground. A fun trip and great job on the snooks... Capt. Dan

Crystal River Trout....

A fun offshore trout jigging trip with the boys and they did great. Hot little pockets of trout action kept us busy and we had a really nice catch. We did try for the snook today, but they were acting funny and just wouldn't commit to our baits. I thank you all and look forward to next time... Capt. Dan

Trout Jigging....

A windy one, but I'm glad we gave it a go as Tony and Brenden did great on the trout. A super low tide tide for us with the stiff NE wind and in made the Crystal River dry. Trout fishing was our only option and we spent the day with MirrOlure Lil' John jigging the trout. We reached a nice limit and I did make a quick stop for a snook inshore. Tony landed one around 25" and another slot sized fish came unbuttoned. I thank you both and great job... Capt. Dan

Trout & Snook....

What a day for Dan, Lauren and Big Fish Bob. We started the day using cork rigs for trout and they were biting them great. The guys picked up 8 keepers on their first drift and we mixed it up next, with some offshore jigging to complete our limit. With some time left for the day, we ran back inshore and had some really great snook action to wrap up their trip. A tremendous day and I thank you all... Capt. Dan

Crystal River Trout.....

Good quality trout for the Caveney team and we spent the day offshore in 8ft of water jigging them up. Bourbon colored MirrOlure LIl' Johns did the trick and the action was steady. The usual mixed bag of grouper, ladyfish, sea bass, etc... kept us busy and you all had a great catch... Capt. Dan

1/2 day Mix....

A nice 1/2 day mix with the Barlow team for their second trip of the week. I had just done treatment Tuesday, but was feeling good enough to get a 1/2 day trip in. We did a little bit of rock hopping inshore and then jigged up a couple trout. A fun momring, caught a few fish and I thank you both... Capt. Dan

A nice day inshore with the Barlow team and it was great to see these guys; it's been over a year. We started out on the beginning of the incoming tide and jigged up a pretty quick limit of quality trout on DOA and MirrOlure soft plastics. Only one short fish, as the others were all keepers. Next up, we made our run to the mangroves and had an absolutely awesome redfish day. The guys totaled over 20 slot red fish and we called it a day. I'm doing treatment tomorrow, so I'll be off the water until probably next week. I thank you both and great job... Capt. Dan

Inshore Perfection...

What a day!!! It was as good as it gets on the inshore scene with Ted and John and these guys had a day. From dropping down on the sheepshead, jigging some trout and finishing up on a pair of red fish, the day couldn't have been better; other than a bit of sea fog. A triple limit and that was a catch to remember. You both did a tremendous job and I thank you both... Capt. Dan
