Definitely a plan B move today to save the day, as grouper fishing just wasn't going to happen. I had the Womble group on board and we wanted to give it a try. We reached the mouth of the river just after 8am and were greeted to white caps and the first stiff NE breeze of the upcoming fall season. I made a run to the North Shore, made a couple drifts and we picked up a few trout on DOA deadly combo rigs. The tide was extremely low and the guys did well for the tough conditions. We called it a day just before noon and had a fine lunch at Lollygaggers Sports Grill to end the day. Thank you all for the good time and here's Brad with a couple Crystal River trout... Capt. Dan
