We were rained out for yesterday's grouper season opener, but today was awesome. I had Casey and Brandon on board from the Sodium store in Crystal River and we made the run West. I tried a couple shallow stops in the 10ft range, but only one short to show for our efforts. So, we hammered down to 25ft of water and in one stop, we had our limit. The guys put a beautiful limit of gag grouper in the box and we headed back to the dock. A combination of cut threadfin herring and live pin fish were the baits of the day.
