The high winds continue to howl along the Nature Coast. However, this has not stopped my charters from producing some nice catches in less than ideal conditions. I had four great anglers on board today for a 1/2 day trip out of Crystal River. Matt, Ron, Luke and Tom joined me for some sheepshead action in the windy conditions. We fished some shallow ledges off Crystal River and had several nice sheepshead to put in the cooler. Grass porgys and black sea bass kept us busy throughout the morning and it was non stop action for everyone. Live shrimp rigged on an 1/8oz jig head was the bait of choice for the day. The gulf water temperature is warming and my sonar registered 60 degrees today. The fishing is only going to get better, so stay tuned for some great reports. Here is Matt with his first sheepshead and thanks guys for the great time... Capt. Dan
