Birthday Grouper May16th 2010 Featured

P5160180Today was the offshore charter I have looking forward to for a while. I had a great family on board today out of Pete's Pier, on the Crystal River. Tim, Scott and the birthday boy Ryan joined me for a full day of grouper diggin'. The seas were a little choppy, but once we arrived in the 20ft range is was steady action. Grouper, cobia and some hefty sharks kept us busy. We trolled up a couple keepers on plugs and a couple keepers bottom fishing with threadfin herring. The 25ft depth range is still a good starting depth for those of you in search of some grouper. Thanks guys for the fantastic charter and look forward to seeing you all again. Here's today's catch...
