Crystal River Trout Haul May 23rd 2010 Featured

P5230194The tout bite is as good as it gets right now. I met Jason, Brian and Kevin at Pete's Pier for a full day of targeting trout. We left the marina, and by 9:30 am we had 7 in the box. The last hour of the incoming tide was awesome. It did slow down like usual between tide changes, but once it started ripping out, the bite was on. The DOA holographic watermelon shrimp is tough to beat right now. The day total was 18 keeper trout, a couple sea bass and a mack. Thanks guys for the great charter and look forward to seeing you on the next trip... Capt. Dan
