Providing Crystal River & Homosassa Fishing Charters

We had an afternoon scheduled trip today at the Homosassa Fishing Club. Myself and Capt. Charlie Harris fished the Edward Spearman group for an outstanding evening charter. I had Ed, Von and Brad on board and the trout were in the mood for some DOA Deadly Combos. We had 10 keepers, but since the guys flew down, in was a catch and release trip. The wind was a steady 15mph out of the SW, so we stayed inshore and the 3ft flats was the hot zone. Capt. Charlie ran south to chase the tarpon, and had a several minute battle with a fish in the 70lb class. A couple jumps and the fish broke off, but that's half the fun of tarpon fishing.
