100 fish day in Homosassa June 11th 2010 Featured

P6110241I fished the Homosassa Fishing Club today and it was a good one. I had Kenny, John, Jamie and Jim on board and we loaded up on the trout. We left the club around 8:30 am and ran off shore to the deeper grass flats. The trout were waiting and it was truly cast after cast action. Numerous short trout were on our lines and for the longest time I was getting worried about getting a keeper. Finally they started rolling in one at a time and before we knew it we had a cooler full. The DOA glow shrimp on a 1/8oz jig head was the bait of choice today. Looking forward to tomorrows trip guys and I'll see you in the morning....Capt. Dan
