Providing Crystal River & Homosassa Fishing Charters

I was back in Homosassa today, and myself and Capt. Don Chancey had an outstanding 1/2 day Homosassa charter. We met our group at Macrae's at 8am, and Jack and Craig joined me, while Capt. Don had the ladies for a busy fish catching morning. We ran out the little Homosassa river, cut through St. Martins Keys and in no time we were in the trout. It took a while to get a keeper, but when we put the first one in the cooler the rest quickly followed. The combination of DOA shrimp in the glow and holographic watermelon color were the go to colors today. I stress if your planning a trout fishing trip, keep your presentation slow and very subtle twitches. We had the usual mixed bag of blue fish, grouper, lady fish, sharks, sea bass etc... It was a fun morning. Thanks for an outstanding day and look forward to our fall charter.
