Scalloping in The Rain July 1st 2010 Featured

P7010296I had a great family on board today for 1/2 day Crystal River scalloping charter. The sky's were a little dark to the west when we left Pete's Pier, but we didn't see any lightning and off we were. The scalloping as of late has been the most productive west of St. Martins Keys, and thats where we found them today. The shallow 3ft grass flats was the hot zone and in a couple hours we had close to 4 gallons of whole scallops to put in the cooler. The rain did make it to us, but nothing that we couldn't handle and we all had a great time. Thanks to Ed, Theresa, Monica and Alexandra for the fun day and here are today's scalloping Queens....
