Crystal River Trout Galore July 14th 2010 Featured

P7140002I had a fantastic 1/2 day charter out of Crystal River today and we loaded up on the trout. I met Seth and Tim at the Port Hotel and Marina, after I got my ice and bait from Pete's Pier, and off we were. We ran offshore to the 10ft grass patches and it was non stop action all morning. Trout, grouper, sea bass, bluefish, lady fish and a couple sharks kept us busy. We had our 15 keeper speckeled trout by 11:30 am and also picked up a couple of nice siver trout to add to the bag. The trout fishing continues to be as hot as the weather and the DOA shrimp continues to be the top producing lure. We were back at Pete's a little after noon to clean fish and feed the tarpon to finish up an awesome day. Thanks guys for the great time and I'll see you next time... Capt. Dan
