A fun 1/2 day trip with my good friends Cassie and Erin out of Crystal River. We did a little bit of fishing and touring the river today and wow, was it windy. Leaving from Pete's Pier marina just after 8am, we made a quick dash to gulf to catch a fish or two before the wind kicked up even worse. The trout bite was slow to be expected in the white cap conditions, but we caught a few before we ran back in to the river.  I did a tour of the bay, found some manatees, showed them the springs and the ladies had a great time.
