What an awesome group on board today out of the Homosassa Fishing Club! I had Kim, Ashley and Kristy with me for the day and these lady anglers did fantastic. We left the club dock a little after 8am and made our way to the grass flats around the Homosassa Bird Rack. The trout action was steady with DOA deadly combos and Mirrolure Lil' Johns and the darker bourbon color was the ticket. The team put nine keepers in the box before our noon shore lunch and we missed the top boat catch to Capt. Jim Long by one fish. Myself and the other guides prepared another fine shore lunch and these last two days have been a blast. I thank you all for the fun time and here's my group with a fine catch of Homosassa trout...
