A fun day with a great father and son team out of Crystal River and these guys had a good one. Todd and Tyler were the team and they definitely kept the rods bent catching trout and sheepshead. The day began throwing DOA jerk baits on a shallow oyster bar and catching and releasing some beautiful trout. With our arms warmed up, our next stop were some offshore sheepshead. The sheepshead bite was outstanding and we landed well over forty, just keeping a bakers dozen for a meal or two. Tyler brought in a beautiful, hefty sea bass that was over 16" to add to the catch.
