A nice Friday trip with Mishel and Earl and they tackled some nice groupers. I ran down South for a change of scenery today and the fish were there. There's definitely a more abundance of smaller fish down South and they kept us busy. We weeded through the little guys and eventually got some nice keepers, plus loosing some big ones as well. We had a fun time and I thank you both... Capt. Dan

A great day on the rocks again with Dave and Danny and the gentlemen had fine limit of grouper and a bonus cobia. We left the Plantation on Crystal River and headed offshore to about 23ft and dropped down the baits. The grouper bite was very good and they immediately hooked up with some nice gags. A bonus cobia popped up next to the boat and that was a welcomed surprise and more tasty groceries. I thank you both and great job team... Capt. Dan

A great start to the week with Lee and Bob on board and the guys did terrific. The seas were a bit choppy, but it was a "grouper chop" and the fish were turned on. I set up on two locations, sent down the pin fish and the gentlemen secured a fine limit of gags. On a personal note, I'm about two weeks left on my radiation and it is starting to hurt me a bit. For the next couple weeks I'm just going to be doing a couple days a week, until I get through all this. I thank you all and great job... Capt. Dan

Another solo charter today with Chuck on board and we headed to some areas I haven't fished yet this year. The bite was quite good for us and a good mix of legal and just under legal sized gags, kept us busy. The water was really clear and made boat positioning very easy to get lined up on the spots. Chuck turned some fine grouper and great job my man....

Always a fun day with good friend and client Pat on board and he requested grouper dinners. Well, it was a perfect day weather wise and the bite was on. Lots and lots of action with under sized fish for most of the trip, but the big dogs eventually showed up and Pat secured a fine limit of gags caught on live pin fish. Some nice gags today with the Barlow Party and these guys did great. Right out of the gate the bite was on and in just a couple minutes, we had some fine grouper on ice. A couple more shorts kept us busy, but when the tide slowed it was pretty much over. It has definitely been an outgoing tide bite lately and today sure confirmed it. I thank you all and great job... A special Sunday trip with John and Dan on board and these two guys did awesome. Once again I kept with the grouper plan, as the sea's were flat calm and we headed out a bit. I loaded the well with pin fish and soon enough, we were hooked up with some nice gags. I actually fished a new rock I recently found and it's a GOOD ONE!!! The team secured their limit and great job to you both... Capt. Dan

A trek to the South land today as the seas were great for fishing the 30ft range. Unfortunately though, the was water was so clear, the fish were either spooky or just not there; as we did no good in that area. I made a adjustment and ran inshore a bit and it was the right call. The Sands team sent down the pin fish and in short order we had a fine limit of grouper. Awesome job guys and that you for hanging in there... Capt. Dan

The grouper were a bit tricky for us today with Bob, Dean and Jim on board. I hit several spots in the shallow grounds and we definitely had the bites. The team was getting frustrated on the way they were hitting and we unfortunately missed several big fish. We turned a couple beauty's though and everyone secured a grouper dinner for the day, plus released a couple beautiful just under slot sized fish. After cancelling yesterday's trip due to the weather; today was a much better day. Dan, Lauren and Gary were the team and with a light chop on the gulf, we headed to grouper land. Well, it was a good choice and we found some nice gags moving around little by little dropping down live pin fish. The action was steady on all the places we fished and the team did a great job turning all the fish. I thank you all and I'll see you next month... Capt. Dan
