The Fishing Diva...

A great day and definitely the last good weather day for a little while; with Marilyn the fishing Diva and David on board. With grouper season closing in a couple weeks, I ran to some areas I haven't hit yet this year and we did great. We sent down some pin fish on some ledges and the bite was good. Actually no short gags today and every fish we caught was a keeper - "I like that". Marilyn finished up the day with big fish honors and I thank you both as always for the fun time... Capt. Dan

Best Day Yet...

Hands down the best grouper bite I've seen yet this year and Tony Sans and Rusty were on board to experience the magic. I've been off a couple days this week due to cold, windy weather but today's forecast was perfect. I ran offshore to some bottom in 32ft of water and it was absolutely non stop action. We caught grouper until we were tired and released close to 30 keeper gags. Fish were following hooked fish to the surface and it sure was a special day. I thank you both and great job team... Capt. Very Rough...

Day two with John on board and he brought his friend Ayinde to tug on some grouper. We were able to make it out a couple miles and we did some plug casting and trolling for a little bit. The guys caught about 10 gags with three being keepers on Rapala x-rap plugs. The weather turned on us and "oh my" it got very rough and we had to wrap up the day. Still a good time and I thank you both... Capt. Dan

Last Month Gags...

The weather had me worried for today's trip, but John and Kevin were game to give it a try. Rain and a gusty SE wind were our conditions for a challenging day for the first day of the last month of the 2018 grouper season. John is my cousin that flew in from North Carolina and with his friend Kevin being young guns, they could handle the chop and we got'em. I trolled a bit, got a keeper and finished up the others in 8ft of water doing a real treat - casting plugs. I was proud of you guys getting some nice fish in some bumpy conditions and enjoy the goodies... Capt. Dan
