Update...

Hello everyone I wanted to check in an let you all know I'm still alive. I just got out of the hospital for an 8 day stay with a major blood clot to my right shoulder. I'm going to be recovering for a week or so, but my strength is slowly coming back and I'm sure eager to get back out on the water with you all. I thank you all that have checked in with me and all the prayers that have been sent. I hope to see you all soon and I thank you... Capt. Dan

20 mph Trout...

It was a blowing today folks and some gusts were easily over 20 mph. I had the Summner party and for the conditions, it was going to be a trout trip. It was not an easy one by any means and we worked hard from them pretty much getting a fish a drift; while moving around a bunch. The guys hung in there and made it happen as we fished the creek mouths. I'll be off for about a week with some some medical business to deal with, but I'll be back on the water soon as I can... Hot Front Bite...

A big weather change is on the way and on my, the fish were feeding today. I had the pleasure of having the Dauchess party on board and they did great on the trout and reds. It was blowing pretty hard out of the NW, so we tucked up in the creeks the best we could and had a very good afternoon. Live shrimp was our bait of the day and I thank you all for the fun time... Snook Season Opener...

Chuck and Kyle were the team today and it was the opening of the 2019 spring snook season. The guys had a pretty good day with a nice catch of cooperative trout and a couple snook. The snook season is just a couple months and with a slot of 28"-33" it's tricky to get one just right. Well, today we were lucky to get one just right at 32 3/4" to make the cut. We realsed some smaller ones as well and I thank you both for the fun time... Capt. Dan
