The picture perfect weather continues and Phil and I had a blast for his day two. We pretty much stayed offshore for the day bouncing around and catching a mixed offshore assortment. You really can't beat the action and for rod bending fun, it's definitely where its at - plus the fish are tasty. A great time and I'll see you tomorrow... Capt. Dan

Another sheet of glass kind of day offshore and John, Bill and Wayne had a great trip. We pushed on out and sent down our shrimp. Lots of awesome action with snapper, hog fish, grouper, grunts and sheepshead. The snapper bite was a little bit slower than yesterday, but the sheepshead were really wound up. Some schools of bonito were on the surface and a few bait fish schools. Spring is trying to make it's way. Great job guys and I thank you.... Capt. Dan

FINALLY!!! Yes folks, we finally got a break in the weather and it sure was a beautiful day. I haven't been able to make it offshore in three weeks from the winds and rough seas, but today Fred and Bill had it as good as it gets. We set up on the rocks and had non-stop action all day. The usual reef species kept us busy and the guys had an awesome catch. The last couple days I've serviced the boats and trailers - come on spring I'm ready... Capt. Dan

We found the big ones today with Bill, Roland and Jim on board, but my goodness it really got rough. In all my years of chartering, today's after noon SW wind built the sea's up to as big as I've fished in. You had to definitely drive the swells and it was an adventure. I made it offshore just long enough to have a fine catch of sheepshead and we really found some big ones. A couple trout and a snook started the day and you guys did great. Always a fun day with the Village's team of Dan, Joe and Daryl. Today's trip consisted of mostly sheepshead fishing and adding a couple trout to the box. The sheepshead season is still going strong with some large females coming on board. We'll target these fish just a little bit longer, then leave them alone to finish their spawn. A good mix with Bart, Shane, Nick and Nathan on board and we sure had a fun time. The sea's were up a bit and couldn't go to far offshore, but we made it happen. We dropped down the shrimp on a couple different rock piles and stayed real busy on the out going tide. Some quality sheepshead came on board and had several come unbuttoned as well. We picked up a couple trout too and I thank you guys for the fun time... Capt. Dan

Always a fun time with Clell on board and he was my solo guest today. He and I set off to the sheepshead grounds and did very well. We sent down the shrimp and had plenty of action with grouper, sheepshead and grunts. A nice bonus, was the first keeper triple tail of the year; as I spotted it on a weed patch and it quickly took a shrimp. I thank you Clell and enjoy all the fillets.... Capt. Dan

A bit to bumpy to make the long run, but favorable enough to reach the inshore sheepshead grounds. Jimmy, Brian and Harley were my guys today and we had a ball "they are a bunch of characters". I jumped around the shallow rock piles and we tackled a couple sheepshead a spot. Live shrimp were the baits and a couple gags greeted us as well. This looks like the last nice day for a couple, but hopefully by next week it will lay back down so we can make it out. Thank you all for the fun day... Capt. Dan

Scott and Tom sure had an awesome trip today and the fishing was really on. The snapper bite was extremely good and the sheepshead too. Fast action was the theme of the day and we had a really great catch of both species, in no time. A couple bonito were milling around the surface as well, so Tom got to pull on one before we wrapped up the trip. Great job guys and I thank you... Capt. Dan

Back to back awesome weather days and some terrific fishing. The "boys" were on board and Dan, Lauren and Joe sure made me proud. Nonstop action all day with grunts, grouper, snapper and sheepshead filled out our trip. They sure kept me busy and really great job fellas.... Capt. Dan
