Some really whopper snook with Bob on board today and he did an awesome job. We got set up right at the tide was turning, presented our baits and "wham" fish on. We had an hour of steady action with close to a dozen snook and a pair of really nice mid slot red fish. Bob had a whopper right around 40" and it was an awesome fight. I did make a run offshore to check on my permit spot and they are there. I presented a perfect small crab to them, but they didn't commit this time. I'll try them again soon and hopefully land one.... Capt. Dan

Always a super fun time with Amanda, Alyse and their dad Tom and today was the twins birthday. The girls had a awesome trip and they caught some fine snook and slot reds. I did try to poke offshore, but it was just to windy. So we made it happen on the inside. We kept a few reds, released the snooks and I thank you all for the great day... Capt. Dan

Always a fun day with Tim and Jeanne on board and today we caught some fine snook and some little reds. I pulled my bait traps in the very rough conditions this morning and hoping to get offshore for some cobia, but it was just to rough to do so. So, for plan B, we stayed on the inside and had some steady red fish action on the first stop, but they were all little guys. The tide was topping off on the high side and we finished the afternoon with some fine catch and release snook action. A fun day with you both and I thank you.... Capt. Dan

What an awesome team with Carrie, Sabrina and Ashley on board and these ladies came to play. We did a mix offshore and inshore and the ladies stayed busy. Some of the best cobia action I've seen in a while, with 5 coming on board and some beauty gags too. A 32" cobia and a hefty gag grouper got eaten by a jew fish boat side, which added to a long tug of war. The tide was topping off inshore, so we hit a couple points and caught some really nice snook and a couple red fish to add to the already awesome trip. You all were great and terrific job... Capt. Not to many options for us today with the stiff West wind, but we made something happen. I had Phil and his sons on board and we tried for cobia to start off, but it was just to rough to really give it a go. A couple real nice gags kept us busy for a bit, but no cobia on the couple stops we fished. So, for plan B, they guys and I red fished the afternoon big tide and caught a few using live pin fish to seal the deal. We made the best of a tough day and I thank you all... Capt. Dan

Some great offshore trout jigging with the Pearl team today and they did great. I did fish yesterday, but it was a tough one with seven hard earned trout as the windy cold front the night before made it tough and very dirty water. Today was really good though, and we fished in the 8ft of water range using Lil' Jons to catch our trout. Lots of action and a nice red ended the day. I thank you guys and great job... Capt. Dan

A terrific day out of Homosassa with Ott and Steve and they had a blast. We started the day with cork rigs catching some really fine trout off the keys. Root beer colored Lil' Jons were the ticket and we put a limit of ten fish on ice. We waited for the tide a bit and rounded up the afternoon tackling some snook and red fish to have the Homosassa slam. I thank you both and awesome job... Capt. Dan

Another fun day in the skiff with Jason on board and we stayed back in the woods. We hit the points and creeks with the very gusty 20 plus mph winds, but still had a fun day. We caught some nice reds and snook on DOA jerk baits, while releasing them all today. I took Jason on a good boat ride as well, as we ran from Crystal River to Homosassa in the back country while stopping at Macrae's for a couple beverages for the way back home. My man Pat got the slam today and we did well. The day began jerk baiting some trout on the shallow flats as they bit much better today and we secured a quick limit. The tide was coming fast again, due to the condition's, so we got a jump on the snook and got our keeper. We ended the day with some red fish and our Crystal River slam was completed. Always fun when you can accomplish a slam and with the Stephens family on board they did fine. We had to contend with a West wind and full moon tides which really brought in a lot of water, which made the bite a little slow. We hung in there though, and jerk baited some trout, snook and a couple reds on live shrimp. I thank you both and a really fun day.... Capt. Dan
