Trout & Sheeps....

A fun day with Chris and Gerald as we caught some trout and sheepshead. The day started out running offshore a bit dropping on some sheepshead spots and we caught a few; but it really was a slow bite and a couple pulled off on their way to the top. The tide was coming in good, so we changed gears, ran shallow and caught some nice trout on DOA jerk baits.  A nice day, good little mix and I thank you both... Capt. Dan

Trout in the Creeks...

A different change of pace from what I've been doing and it was fun to stay inside and find some trout. Paul and Gary were my team and we did well after just a little bit of a slow start. I haven't been inshore at all so it took me a bit to find the pattern. Soon enough though, we were on them. Just using DOA glow jerk baits in the creeks did their job and the fish were bunched up; which made for multiple hook ups. A fun day and I thank you both.... Capt. Dan

A one man band with the one and only Tony Sans and he and I sure had a day. We started off before todays approaching front, grabbing some grouper and did so just in the Knick of time; before the seas got rough. Our first spot thankfully produced our limit and we slowly eased back inshore in the bumpy conditions. Next up, we drifted the shallow hard bottom off the outer keys and had an awesome trout bite. We caught well over 20 keepers and numerous shorts for our afternoon. Lots of action and I thank you... Capt. Dan

Team Bosworth...

Some fast and I mean really fast grouper action today with the Bosworth team, and we had our grouper limit in less than 15 minutes. We had the tropical storm blow through two days prior and the gulf is churned up a bit, but the fish were ready to eat. The team did a terrific job securing a fine limit of grouper and a couple bonus trout filled out our afternoon. A great day and I thank you.... Capt. Dan

In the Weeds...

Some fun today in my good friend JC and Kayla's mud boat, as it was to rough to do my grouper charter and I rescheduled. We had a blast running the extreme skinny water fishing the holes back in the weeds. Lots of action and we caught a nice inshore mix, using both jerk baits and live shrimp. I thank you both and a great time. Also, I go in for another round of treatment tomorrow; so I'll be off the water for about a week. I'm hoping to get back on the grouper action late next week. I thank you all... Capt. Dan

Crystal River Mix...

A great day with the Short family and they hit it out of the park. Good grouper trolling and in just a couple passes we were done. Next we just poked around inshore targeting trout with cork rigs and red fish in the mangroves. A good bite, good action and I thank you both.... Capt. Dan

Crystal River Good Haul...

A good stringer for the Carnevale team and they sure had a good catch.. I took today's group to the same zone as yesterdays and they loaded up on the gags. In pretty short order we had a limit of quality Crystal River grouper and ran inshore, and added a few trout to the mix. You all did great and I thank you all.... Capt. Dan

Crystal River, Good Mix....

A great day and mix for Lauren, Larry and Big Fish Bob. I love fishing with these guys and they always make me proud. We just simply had a fun day and everything came together from the offshore grouper to the inshore trout and snook. The weather was great and these days are special. I thank you all and look forward to next time... Capt. Dan

WINDY........

Not a grouper day today for the team, as it was blowing and rough. Phil, his son Joe and Chris wanted to give it a try even though is really was rough, but we caught a few. Plenty of tide for red fishing and had a nice limit of lower slot fish and spent the rest of the day cork rigging some trout. The guys actually caught quite a few with lots of shorts and a couple keepers as we fished in the whitecaps. A fun time and great job... Capt. Dan

Fun Grouper...

Always a fun time when Uncle Phil is in town and he brought his buddy Chris along for the day. The two guys did awesome turning some fine grouper and I got to play a bit too. We did the same as yesterday, found just a couple trout and wrapped up the day. I thank you both and outstanding job... Capt. Dan
