Uncle Phil is in town and we made it happen on a really beautiful day. We spent the day both inshore and offshore catching a mix of snook in the morning and an afternoon of mangroves and other goodies. The oyster bars produced the snook with DOA glow jerk baits and we sent down some live shrimp for the rest of the mixed bag. The conditions couldn't have been better and it really was a fun day... Another sheet of glass kind of day offshore and John, Bill and Wayne had a great trip. We pushed on out and sent down our shrimp. Lots of awesome action with snapper, hog fish, grouper, grunts and sheepshead. The snapper bite was a little bit slower than yesterday, but the sheepshead were really wound up. Some schools of bonito were on the surface and a few bait fish schools. Spring is trying to make it's way. Great job guys and I thank you.... Capt. Dan

FINALLY!!! Yes folks, we finally got a break in the weather and it sure was a beautiful day. I haven't been able to make it offshore in three weeks from the winds and rough seas, but today Fred and Bill had it as good as it gets. We set up on the rocks and had non-stop action all day. The usual reef species kept us busy and the guys had an awesome catch. The last couple days I've serviced the boats and trailers - come on spring I'm ready... Capt. Dan

Scott and Tom sure had an awesome trip today and the fishing was really on. The snapper bite was extremely good and the sheepshead too. Fast action was the theme of the day and we had a really great catch of both species, in no time. A couple bonito were milling around the surface as well, so Tom got to pull on one before we wrapped up the trip. Great job guys and I thank you... Capt. Dan

Back to back awesome weather days and some terrific fishing. The "boys" were on board and Dan, Lauren and Joe sure made me proud. Nonstop action all day with grunts, grouper, snapper and sheepshead filled out our trip. They sure kept me busy and really great job fellas.... Capt. Dan

Talk about an awesome day, after four days of windy weather. The San's team was on board and Tony, Brendan and Tony the Tree guy hit it out of the park. From start to finish it was game on. We ran offshore a bit and the rods stayed bent. Snapper, grunts, grouper a couple hog fish - it was a blast. You guys had an awesome catch and great job.... Capt. Dan

Another terrific day offshore with Mark and Tono on board and they did fantastic. I pushed on out to 40ft of water again and it was really good. A mixed bag of all the goodies and we stayed busy all day. Some real quality snapper was the big highlight of the day and I thank you both.... Capt. Dan

What a beautiful day to go offshore and on this trip we pushed on out to just about 40 feet of water. Curt, Mark and Josh were my guys and they definitely stayed busy. Lots of action with snapper, grunts, hog fish and sheepsheaed filled out their day. I bet we caught over 20 hog fish, but only two keepers over the new 14" regulation mark. A really good offshore trip today with the Barlow family and we sure did great. I did fish yesterday with Tony and Amber and did good on grunts, a couple sheepshead and released a bunch of gags. Today though, was pretty on and we had some good action. It seems like the 30ft mark is where the fish are if you want to bend the rods, as the gulf is still in the mid to upper 50's. You have to have the weather, but when its favorable it really is good. The team today had a terrific mixed bag and I thank you all... Capt. Dan

Being my birthday today, I had my traditional crew of the last four years, Ian, Michelle and Jeff on board. Once again we had calm conditions, so we made the 20 plus mile ride offshore and really did great. The snapper didn't really bite well yesterday, but today was a different story. On just one rock we boated 20 keepers, plus numerous gags and grunts. The only down side was the dense wet sea fog and it made for a very long wet ride home.
