Crystal River Fishing Charters & Homosassa Charters

A great day at the Homosassa Fishing Club fishing the Carter party and I had Dave and Libby on board. We had a 12:30 shore lunch on schedule for the day, so we got as much fishing in as we could. The tide was good for some morning red fishing and we hit the keys, free lined some shrimp and the team put three nice slot red fish on ice. The tide soon dropped out and we gave trout fishing a try, but the bite was slow and we only produced three keepers. With 15 minutes left to fish, I hit a shallow cave I haven't been to in a while and we pulled a hefty 12lb gag grouper out of it. What an awesome fish to catch in 3ft of water and it sure was good at our shore lunch. A fun day with a good variety of fish in just a couple hours of fishing - I thank you both for the fun time...
