The gusty NE wind was with us once again today with Jami and Bruce on Saturday's Crystal River charter and we had a good one. I picked up the couple at the Plantation on Crystal River and the shallow water trout started our day. Jami had the hot rod and she caught some nice keepers to get the day going. I moved around a little bit and the team caught a couple more good ones, before we ran to shallow grouper land. The grouper bite was great when we first began, but tapered off throughout the day. I covered "A LOT" of ground and we released several gags just under the 24" mark; but a couple keepers came on board and the day was made.
