Crystal River Fishing Charters & Homosassa Charters

With September being a fantastic month for red fish; Jim ,Terry and Jimmy came back up for a fun charter out of Homosassa. I have fished these guys several times now and they say each trip gets even better. We met at Macrae's at 8am, ran out the little Homosassa and immediately found a school of red fish. The first four cast were hook ups but they all fell a little shy of making it to the keeper size. Finally Jimmy hooked a beautiful 26" keeper and the rest soon followed. After our limit of reds were ran offshore caught a few trout and mixed up the day catching a bonus grouper. The big fights of the day was when Terry and Jimmy hooked into two large rays in the 50lb range and gave them a workout they won't soon forget.
