Wow! the red fishing is truly fantastic right now. I had Robert, Shawn and Patrick out of Crystal River for a full day inshore charter. The tide was making high early this morning so we ran south to the keys and targeted the red fish schools. The bite was on and in three cast we had three keepers. They weren't the big bulls I have been seeing, but all were beautiful 21" to 23" red fish. On the next point Shawn hooked into a good one, and brought in a beautiful 29" red fish that couldn't resist a free lined live shrimp. After our red fish limit we ran off shore and caught plenty of trout. It was another one of those tough condition days with very little breeze and a slow out going tide; but we did manage seven keeper trout and some mackerel to finish up the day. Thanks again guys for the fun trip and here is Shawn with his big Crystal River red fish... Capt. Dan
