Crystal River Fishing Charters & Homosassa Charters

I had a 1/2 day charter today out of Crystal River with clients Earl and Michelle. They requested just targeting red fish and with last couple days being as good as its been, I said "it should be no problem." We ran out the salt river, headed South again and had to wait a little while for the tide to get going; but after an hour of incoming water the bite was on. We fished several keys and had great success. We boated 9 red fish from under slot to 31" and the big one did get away today. Michelle had a monster on and had him to the boat a few times, but on its final run it wrapped up in the kelp grass and a long line release took place. It was in the mid 30 inch class, but we had the best of him. Thank you both for a fun morning charter and all the fish today were released to fight another day... Capt. Dan
