Another week of perfect weather! I met Bill and Fred at Pete's Pier this morning and we ran from the inside out. We started off the morning catching some trout, pompano, sea bass, mackerel, and numerous lady fish to get the day going. The fish were chewing pretty good inshore, but with the perfect conditions the guys said "how about a grouper". We put up the trout rods and headed west out to 25ft. This time of year is ideal for trolling plugs and the grouper are getting more aggressive with the cooling temperatures. Today's hot color was the chartreuse and silver yo-zuri mag minnow. We kept three nice gags and released a few cobia, mackerel and a short grouper before we called it a day. This trip has been in the works for a while and I thank you Bill and Fred for a memorable day on the water. Here are the guys with a great catch... Capt. Dan
