High Winds and Trout Oct. 15th 2010 Featured

PA150182The winds were up today and it made for a tough day on the water. I had Bill and Mel on board out of Crystal River to do a 1/2 day of inshore fishing. There wasn't much of a tide to try and find a red fish, so we drifted the bars in Crystal Bay and found some trout. There was a steady 2ft chop and white caps, but the trout were hitting our DOA deadly combos pretty well. The holographic rootbeer was the hot color for the majority of the fish and the cigar shaped corks out produced the egg corks today. The guys fished hard and we had good laughs throughout the day. Thanks as always for the fun time and I'll see you again soon... Capt. Dan
