Crystal River Grouper Limit Oct. 22nd 2010 Featured

Written by
PA220190Perfect seas, no floating grass, water temperature in the low 70's and hungry grouper. We had ideal conditions trolling for grouper and we found them. I met Dave, Spencer and Rob at Pete's Pier this morning and we were offshore bound. We ran offshore to the 20ft range and had great action all day. The short grouper kept us busy for the morning, but once the sun got up a little the big boys were on the line. The Rapala x-rap 20's in the fire tiger was today's top plug. The guys have never trolled for grouper and after today they are sold on the technique. Thanks for the fun time and look forward to seeing you in the future...Capt. Dan
