Crystal River Triple Limit. Nov. 22nd 2010 Featured

PB220271Today was one of those magical days when everything was just perfect. I met Dave and Kit at Pete's Pier this morning and we left the dock in search of some trout. We arrived at our destination and the trout were waiting for us. It was fast and furious action and two and three on at a time; it was great. In no time we had our trout and with the seas slick as glass, I said lets troll up a grouper. We arrived in the 20ft range and just like yesterday, the grouper were on fire. The shorts were very active and it took a little while to get the keepers, but they eventually found there way on the end of the line. What next, the tide was ideal for red fishing, so the guys were game for trying to find a red fish. We caught a few shorts and then found a couple hefty upper slot fish. Live shrimp under a cork was the bait of choice. I want to thank you both for one of the best charters I have ever had and very few anglers have accomplished what you did today. I look forward to our next trip and enjoy the fillets... Capt. Dan
