Crystal River 1/2 Day Macks. Feb. 26th 2011 Featured

P2260390Wow, what a difference a day can make! Yesterday, 4ft seas offshore and today, it was smooth as glass. I picked up the Grant family at Pete's Pier this morning and we ran offshore Crystal River to catch a few mackerel. The conditions were so perfect today, that we were almost wishing we had a breeze to keep us cool. Anchoring up over hard bottom and chumming kept our rods bent with the Spanish mackerel. Free lined live shrimp did the trick and the crew is looking forward to mackerel fillets on the grill tonight. Thanks guys for the fun morning and enjoy the fish... Capt. Dan
