Chilly Trout. March. 13th 2011 Featured

P3120403Hopefully this will be the last of the cold weather. We hit the 30's again this morning in Crystal River and it made for a cold ride to the flats. I had Jeremy and Don on board and the guys did a great job catching a few hefty trout. The bite was pretty slow throughout the day and the guys worked hard for the ones we had. A trickle of a tide and cold conditions made for challenging conditions, but we always manage to find a few. A combination of DOA glow cal shad tail jigs and jerk baits were the baits of the day. Thanks for the fun time, good laughs and look forward to seeing you again soon... Capt. Dan
