Mackerel Mania! March 16th 2011 Featured

P3160410Pretty much the same story again today! The Spanish mackerel are here and in unbelievable numbers. I had Clell, Richard and Lee on board out of Pete's Pier and the guys wanted in on the mackerel action. We ran offshore to the same productive area as yesterday and it was fish on. Mackerel after mackerel came aboard and we even picked up another bonus pompano as a surprise. The trout bite was still quite slow offshore and only caught a few, but it's going to cut loose here shortly. Thanks for the fun charter and look forward to seeing you all again.
