St. Patty going Red. March 17th 2011 Featured

P3170415I had David and Adam on board today and we were red for St. Patty's day ( red fish that is). I picked up the guys from the Plantation Inn and we started the day loading up on the mackerel. It was not stop action with several fish just under the 30" mark. We had a few surprise guest in the chum slick, with them being some hefty bull sharks. All I had on board was my light inshore rods, but we fed them a few macks and it was smoking drag action. As you guessed, the fight didn't last long and we actually did it three times before we left them alone. The tide was making high, so we ran to the creeks and immediatley boated six beautiful red fish. The guys did a great job and thank you for the fun day. HereĀ is Adam with his first red fish... Capt.
