I did a little scouting today with my wife Becky. We ran offshore Homosassa and fished the deeper spotty bottom areas and we caught some beautiful offshore trout. Throwing a combination of DOA glow and silver mullet cal shad tail jigs was all we needed to catch our limit. Several sea bass, Spanish mackerel, lady fish and the first short grouper I've seen since December, made for a fun day. With this being the last day for her spring break before she goes back to work; we ended the week with some great fish. Here's the biggest trout of the day... Capt. Dan
