Crystal River Trout, Macks and Reds. March 21st 2011 Featured

P3210422A picture perfect day and a great catch of fish to go along with it. I met Wendell, Bob and Mitch at Pete's Pier this morning and we caught a little variety. We started out the day chumming up the macks and in no time, we had all we needed. Our next stop was to add a few trout to the mix. Using a combination of DOA glow jerk baits and holographic root beer shrimp deadly combos, we quickly added six keeper trout to the cooler. Our final stop was to try and find a red fish. Well, we did, but all nine of them were around the 17" mark. The reds were fun and all three species were accomplished. Thank you all for a memorable day on the water and look forward to seeing you all again... Capt. Dan
