After a couple days of high winds and heavy rain, it was good to be back on the water. I was at the Homosassa Fishing Club today, with fellow Homosassa Guides Association members Mark Zorn, William Toney, Rick Spratt and Charlie Harris for the annual Jaboree. The Jaboree consists of husband and wife teams and I had the West family on board today. The trout bite was a little slow for the first part of the morning, but once the tide made up it's mind and came in, the trout turned on. Our big surprise today was hooking into a large black drum that gave our light tackle a great work out. A beautiful day on the water and I thank you both for a fun day.
