Calm seas, clear water and the trout were on the feed. These were the makings of a perfect day out of Crystal River. I met John and Sam at Pete's Pier this morning and we ran to the deeper flats to load up on the trout. It was steady action for most of the day and a variety of species kept us busy. Trout, Spanish mackerel, cobia, grouper, lady fish, sharks etc... were all part of our mixed bag today. Sam is one of the younger anglers I have had on board and this young man can work a jig with the best of them. He did outstanding and the majority of the fish today were all thanks to him. DOA deadly combos and new penny gulps were today's baits of choice. Thanks guys for the fun day and look forward to seeing you again... Capt. Dan
