What an outstanding day out of the Homosassa Fishing Club today! Myself and Captains Mark Zorn, Rick Spratt, William Toney, Jim Long and Charlie Harris put our clients on limits of trout, a few red fish and Spanish mackerel. I had Darren and Jim on board from Atlanta and the guys did fantastic. Working DOA cal jigs around the deeper grass flats was the ticket for today. Very few short trout were caught throughout the morning and after our limit, we chummed up some drag screaming macks. The mack bite was good as well, and after throwing the cast net and having some fresh ballyhoo, the big macks came into range. We lost more than we landed, and even hooked a king fish that pulled the hook boat side. Thanks guys for a fun day and great catch... Capt. Dan
