Crystal River Trout Limit. April 13th 2011 Featured

P4130456A little cold front came through yesterday, but it didn't slow down the fishing. I met Ryan and Steve at Pete's Pier this morning and the guys wanted to experience some flats fishing. Trout was the name of the game today and I ensured the guys if we stuck to it, we would have our limit. We fished a combination of the shallow flats and offshore hard bottom areas where the trout were in good numbers. Today's baits of choice were the DOA deadly combos and a few gulp shrimp. We caught a mixed catch of lady fish, sea bass, sharks, flounder, blue fish, etc.. -- it made for a fun variety day.Thank you both for an outstanding Crystal River charter and look forward to seeing you soon...
