Nice Reds... April 20th 2011 Featured

P4200476You never know what the day will bring -- and after having a little bit of a tough time yesterday, today was quite a bit different. I had Mishel and Earl on board again for day two of their three day charter week. We started the day trying to run offshore for a grouper, but the the seas were not favorable. For plan B, we set up a couple drifts and caught a few trout. The trout bite was a little slow like yesterday, but we did manage a few keepers that were all safely released to fight another day. The tide was coming in, so we ran inshore with high hopes of finding a couple red fish. Well we did just that, and a couple upper slot red fish made there way into the boat for a quick picture, then swam away in great shape. A free lined live shrimp under a DOA deadly combo cork was the ticket. Thank you both as always for a great time and look forward to seeing you Friday... Capt. Dan
