What a great trout bite today! We had a steady SE wind which made for perfect drifts and hungry trout. I had Brian and Becky on board and they had a busy fish catching day out of Crystal River. We targeted the deeper spotty bottom areas using DOA near clear shrimp and new penny gulps for our success. Another variety of mixed species came aboard today including cobia, trout, sea bass, sharks, mackerel, blue fish, and the list goes on. The big highlight of the day was Becky landing this 5lb gator trout which was just shy of 26". Thanks to you both for a fun day and look forward to seeing you for grouper season this fall... Capt.
