A cool front came through last night and the high winds were still here for the morning hours of fishing. I met Chuck and Betty at Pete's Pier for a full day out of Crystal River. We spent the day targeting trout and even though the conditions were tough, they did fantastic. Due to the conditions, we stayed in the 3ft depth range and the trout were there in good numbers. DOA deadly combos in the holographic root beer and the new fire tiger really worked well. A mixed catch of the usual species made for a fun day and there was plenty of fish for the family fish fry.
