Red fish in the morning, trout in the afternoon and another great day out of Crystal River. Clell, Lee and Richard met me at Pete's Pier this morning and we started the day catching a few red fish. We stopped on a couple points and boated five, with four of them below the slot and one that was just over the 27" mark. With the tide running out we ran offshore and found great trout action. The guys put 14 keepers in the cooler and the holographic root beer DOA shrimp was the color of choice. Numerous short trout along with the usual mixed bag of species filled out the day.
