A Crystal River shore lunch special! Myself and fellow Homosassa Guides Association Captains, Gary Cox, Todd Corneillie, Don Chancey and Jim Long prepared an outstanding shore lunch on shell island at the mouth of the Crystal River. We picked up our party from the Plantation Inn and I had Bob, Jacob and Jeff on board. My crew did great on catching some beautiful trout and with DOA shrimp in hand, they had their lunch covered. We ran offshore and fished the deeper grass patches in the 10ft range and the guys put 7 keepers in the cooler, along with a few sea bass and a silver trout to fill out the morning. We arrived at the island just afternoon and everyone experience the whole spread of hush puppies, baked beans, fried fish, and cole slaw.
