An action packed day out of Homosassa and offshore jigging was the name of the game. I had Trey, Rob and Jim on board and we spent the first part of the day catching some great offshore trout, before we ran back to shore and prepared a shore lunch. We targeted the 10ft depth range and had steady action all morning. UsingDOA 1/8oz chartreuse jig heads and cal shad tail jigs were today's baits of choice. The glow color was hot today and numerous sea bass, trout, lady fish, sharks etc... kept the rods bent. Captains Mark Zorn and William Toney were on the trip as well and they put their clients on some great catches, too. The shore lunch was outstanding and another fun day out of Homosassa.
