Crystal River Reds. June 7th 2011 Featured

P6070557Today was my first day back on the water from my Key's trip and the red fish were waiting. I had Henry, Terry and William on board and they were ready for a fun day on the water. We started the charter targeting some red fish and with a high incoming tide, we did great. We only stopped on three points and using free lined live shrimp, we quickly had our limit of red fish and released a few others. Now for the slow news, the trout bite today was pretty much non existent and we only had a couple keepers for several hours of hard fishing. We did catch several short trout, lady fish, sharks and sea bass, but the keepers were a little hard to come by. It was a beautiful day on the gulf and there was plenty of fillets for tonight's fresh fish dinner. Thank you all for the fun day and look forward to our next trip... Capt. Dan
