It was short trip today out of Crystal River and with a 70% chance of rain, the forecast didn't look good. I picked up the Boone family at the Plantation Inn resort and the gang was game for giving it a try. We ran down river to some of the near shore oyster bars, made one quick drift and we picked up about a dozen trout. We had two keepers right away and with the dark skies closing in fast, we headed back home. We just beat the rain when we returned back to shore, and the rest of the day was a wash out. Let's hope for better conditions next time and here's the Boone family with one of their trout. Thanks again... Capt. Dan
