The Last Few Days. July. 11th 2011 Featured

P7100614Well, for those of you who live in Citrus County, you know how the weather has been. Rain the last few days has made it difficult to get out and approaching storms have cut the trips short. Friday was a rain cancellation and Saturdays charter with the Coleman family was good for a few hours of fishing and we boated six red fish before the storm chased us in. I always enjoy fishing with you all and I'll see you in September. I was asked to film a Goliath grouper T.V. show for Nature Coast Outdoors on Monday. So, on Sunday my wife and I made a quick bait run, and jacks, lady fish and blue fish were on Ice ready to go. We also picked up several nice trout while doing so and all were released to fight another day. This brings us to Monday, and unfortunately another rained out day. We did make it offshore, fished for less than five minutes and had to come back in. We will hopefully have better conditions for our rescheduled trip and put Capt. William Toney on a big Goliath. Thanks everyone for all the great comments on my daily blogs and reports and I'll see you on the water... Capt. Dan
